Visual identity project for the 52nd Festival Internacional Cervantino (FIC), held in Guanajuato, Mexico, with Brazil as guest of honor in 2024. Considered the largest arts festival in Latin America, each edition builds a theme linked to the honored country, addressing global issues and contemporary artistic expressions. The visual identity used a palette inspired by Tropicalismo, translating Brazilian cultural diversity. Handcrafted elements (patterns, graphics, and illustration) drew from popular culture, fauna, and flora to represent artistic manifestations such as theater, music, cinema, and dance. The Vinila typeface, created by a Brazilian designer, was chosen for its extensive family of weights, reinforcing Brazil’s presence at the event.
